Beşiktaş Beat Hradec Kralove 1-0 in the Europa League
With Semih Kılıçsoy's goal, Beşiktaş returned from the Czech away trip with 3 points, also securing their 100th win in European competitions.

Beşiktaş traveled to Czech side Hradec Kralove for the first leg of the UEFA Europa League 3rd qualifying round and defeated their opponent 1-0, gaining an important advantage ahead of the return leg. Although both teams created goal-scoring chances in the first half, the score remained goalless at the break; shots from İlhan Fakılı and Oh hit the post, while Orkun Kökçü's attempt also went off target.
Beşiktaş started the second half more actively and came very close to scoring in the 48th minute when Cerny's shot, following a rebound from Orkun Kökçü's effort, hit the side netting. Although the black-and-whites were reduced to 10 men in the 71st minute after Ouattara received a second yellow card and was sent off, this did not disrupt the team's play. In chances created by the home side through Umar and Uhrincat, goalkeeper Nübel's successful saves prevented the opponent from equalizing.
The match-winning goal came in the 80th minute. Following a exchange of passes between Olaitan and Ndidi, Ndidi sent a cross into the box, and Semih Kılıçsoy capitalized on a deflection in the defense, heading the ball into the net to put his team ahead 1-0. In the remainder of the match, the Czech side's efforts to equalize were unsuccessful, and Beşiktaş left the pitch victorious.
With this result, Beşiktaş secured their 100th win in their 261st match in European competitions. With this victory, the black-and-whites also raised their goal tally in the European arena to 352. The return leg between the two teams will be played on Thursday, August 13, at 20:00 at Tüpraş Stadium.
