Besiktas Sign Fabio Miretti on Loan from Juventus

Besiktas have added further reinforcement to their midfield during the summer transfer window. The Turkish club confirmed via its official website that Italian midfielder Fabio Miretti has joined from Serie A side Juventus on loan with an option to buy. The statement noted that an official agreement had been reached with the Italian club, wishing the young player success in his new colours.

The financial details of the transfer were disclosed by Juventus. According to the announcement, Besiktas will pay 2 million euros to Juventus for the loan of Miretti. The buy option included in the deal is set at 13 million euros, with the amount payable in three installments.

Miretti becomes the ninth player to join Besiktas during this summer's transfer window. The club had previously announced the arrivals of Ernest Poku, Dusan Vlahovic, Leandro Trossard, Salih Özcan, Alexander Nübel, Doğan Alemdar, İlhan Fakılı, and Kassoum Ouattara. This extensive transfer activity underlines the club's ambitious approach to strengthening its squad.

The 23-year-old Italian began his career in Juventus's youth academy before being promoted to the first team in 2022. Miretti made 106 appearances for Juventus's senior side, scoring 3 goals and providing 8 assists. During the 2024/25 season, he was on loan at Genoa, where he featured in 26 matches, scoring 3 goals and adding 3 assists.
