Beşiktaş's Bargaining Power Falls Short in Chabot Transfer Talks with Stuttgart

Beşiktaş, aiming to strengthen its defense, is planning to sign Stuttgart's German defender Jeff Chabot for the left-back/center-back position. However, no concrete progress has been made in the negotiations between the two parties so far.

According to information obtained, the black-and-white club's management has put an offer of 8 million euros on the table for the player. Stuttgart, however, finds this offer insufficient and is demanding a net fee of 12 million euros plus bonus payments; with these conditions, the total cost of the transfer is claimed to rise to as much as 15 million euros.

It is stated that Beşiktaş is trying to negotiate a discount from the German club, but Stuttgart is not willing to budge from the figure it has set. This situation is causing the transfer to stall at this stage.

Meanwhile, it has been claimed that Jeff Chabot is open to moving to Beşiktaş if the clubs reach an agreement. As things stand, whether the transfer will happen appears to depend on the two clubs finding common ground on the fee.
