Beşiktaş target Stuttgart's Chabot for center-back transfer

Beşiktaş have taken a concrete step to strengthen their defense through a center-back transfer. Jeff Chabot, whom head coach Vincenzo İtaliano knows from his time at Spezia, has come onto the black-and-whites' agenda.

It has been learned that a 10-million-euro offer was submitted to Bundesliga club Stuttgart for the 28-year-old left-footed center-back. It is stated that the German club responded by communicating a 12-million-euro transfer fee demand to Beşiktaş. Chabot, who reportedly wants to play in the same team again with İtaliano, with whom he previously worked, is said to view a move to Beşiktaş favorably.

Among the black-and-whites' domestic center-back options, Konyaspor's experienced captain Adil Demirbağ stands out. It is reported that the 28-year-old defender is being closely monitored by the Beşiktaş management.

On the other hand, there are claims that Chabot's name was previously on Fenerbahçe's transfer list as well.
