Beşiktaş continue preparations for Olympique Marseille clash
Beşiktaş are preparing under head coach Vincenzo Italiano for their home UEFA Europa League fixture against Olympique Marseille on 17 September.

Beşiktaş will host French side Olympique Marseille at home on Thursday, 17 September, in the opening round of the UEFA Europa League. Ahead of this significant fixture, the club has continued its intensive training work. The squad held a session at the BJK Nevzat Demir Facilities under the guidance of head coach Vincenzo Italiano.

According to a statement from the club, the training session lasted a total of one and a half hours. The workout began with warm-up jogging, followed by a 5-vs-2 possession drill. This was then followed by a small-sided match played on two goals, forming the more intense portion of the session.
The final part of the training was dedicated to specific set-piece work. Both offensive and defensive details regarding dead-ball situations were addressed during this segment. It appears that Italiano is using these drills to get the team in the best possible shape for the match against Marseille.
Beşiktaş will complete their preparations with another training session tomorrow. The first 15 minutes of this session will be open to members of the press. Afterward, head coach Vincenzo Italiano and player Amir Murillo will hold a press conference to discuss the upcoming match.
