Olympiakos edged past Fenerbahçe Tarfin in the closing seconds of their semifinal clash in Abu Dhabi to reach the final.

The inaugural EuroLeague Super Cup produced a thrilling semifinal at Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi. Fenerbahçe Tarfin and Olympiakos, champions of the last two EuroLeague seasons, met in the semifinal round of the new competition. The match was broadcast live on S Sport and S Sport Plus. The tournament also featured last season's finalist Real Madrid and host nation representative Dubai Basketball.
Both sides shot efficiently from beyond the arc in the opening quarter, with Fenerbahçe Tarfin closing it out 25-20. A 7-0 run fuelled by Key helped the Turkish side stretch their lead into double digits at 24-35 in the second quarter. Olympiakos, dominant on the boards, clawed back some ground late in the half but still trailed 45-43 at the break.
Olympiakos found their rhythm in the third quarter through Hall and Dorsey, briefly taking a 56-55 lead.
