Vlahovic and Skriniar clash during Fenerbahçe-Beşiktaş derby
Tensions boiled over in the second half of the Fenerbahçe-Beşiktaş derby in the Trendyol Süper Lig's fourth week, as Dusan Vlahovic and Milan Skriniar were both booked following a heated confrontation.

Fenerbahçe hosted city rivals Beşiktaş at the Chobani Stadium in Kadıköy in the fourth round of the Trendyol Süper Lig. The first half of the derby finished level at 1-1 before tempers flared in the second period.

Around the 52nd minute, a confrontation broke out between players from both sides in an off-the-ball incident. An argument between Beşiktaş forward Dusan Vlahovic and Fenerbahçe captain Milan Skriniar quickly turned into a physical altercation.

According to NTV Spor, the flashpoint came from a midfield incident in which the ball struck Skriniar's arm. When referee Halil Umut Meler allowed play to continue, Vlahovic reacted angrily, sparking the confrontation between the two players.
Reports differ on how many yellow cards were issued. NTV Spor states that only Vlahovic and Skriniar were booked, while A Spor and Fotomaç report that Fenerbahçe's Skriniar and Ederson were both cautioned, alongside Vlahovic for Beşiktaş.
Teammates from both sides quickly stepped in to separate the players before the situation escalated further. Vlahovic and Skriniar were calmed down, and the match resumed shortly after.
