The Fred era is ending at Fenerbahçe: Agreement reached with Atletico Mineiro

Fenerbahçe is making another significant change to its squad, deciding to part ways with Brazilian midfielder Fred. The yellow-and-navy blue club reached a preliminary agreement with the player's former club, Atletico Mineiro, regarding the transfer.

According to information shared by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, negotiations between the two clubs concluded positively, and the financial terms were also clarified. Accordingly, Atletico Mineiro will pay Fenerbahçe 2 million euros for Fred's transfer fee. It was also learned that the agreement includes an additional bonus clause of 500,000 euros.

It was reported that the experienced player and the Brazilian club also reached an agreement on an official contract lasting 3.5 years. Thus, the story of Fred, who began wearing the Fenerbahçe jersey in the 2023-2024 season, will come to an end at the yellow-and-navy blue club.
