Fenerbahçe Women's Football Team Bows Out of Champions League in Qualifying Rounds
The yellow-and-navy blues were eliminated early from the Champions League after losing on penalties to Belgian side OH Leuven.

Fenerbahçe Women's Football Team faced Belgian club OH Leuven in the final match of the UEFA Champions League second qualifying round. Played as a single-match knockout at the Den Dreef Stadium in Belgium, the yellow-and-navy blues entered the match without expecting an early exit from the tournament.
In the first half, Fenerbahçe took the lead through a goal from Konya Plummer in the 8th minute, going into the break 1-0 up. However, in the second half, OH Leuven equalized through Jada Conijnenberg's goal in the 56th minute, and regular time ended 1-1.
With neither team able to score in extra time, the match's fate was decided by penalty shootout. OH Leuven prevailed 4-2 in the shootout, eliminating Fenerbahçe and advancing from the round as winners.
