Fenerbahçe officially sign Kojo Peprah Oppong, unveiling set for Saturday

Turkish giants Fenerbahçe have officially confirmed the signing of Ghanaian center-back Kojo Peprah Oppong from French Ligue 1 side Nice. The club announced the deal through its official social media channels, stating that an agreement had been reached with the 22-year-old defender. Oppong arrived in Istanbul on the same day the transfer was announced, beginning his first steps with his new club.

Alongside the transfer confirmation, Fenerbahçe also revealed the date for Oppong's official unveiling. The signing ceremony will take place on Saturday, August 29 at 11:00, at the 1907 Stand of the Fenerbahçe Şükrü Saracoğlu Sports Complex, within Chobani Stadium. According to the club's statement, Football Director Oğuz Çetin will attend the event, which will be open to all members of the press.

Kojo Peprah Oppong began his football career in Senegal before moving to Sweden, where he joined Norrköping. During his time in Sweden, he spent two seasons on loan at GIF Sundsvall, gaining valuable first-team experience. Last season, the young defender signed with Nice, making his move into French football's top division.

With this signing, Fenerbahçe have added a young and internationally experienced player to strengthen their backline.
