Fenerbahçe adds Lukaku to UEFA Champions League squad list
Fenerbahçe has included new signing Romelu Lukaku in its UEFA squad ahead of the play-off matches against Lyon.

Fenerbahçe will face French side Lyon in the UEFA Champions League play-off round. Ahead of this crucial matchup, the yellow-and-navy blue club management made an important update to its squad list.

Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku, who was transferred in the summer, has been added to the UEFA list. The experienced player replaced Sidiki Cherif on the list, thus gaining the opportunity to play against Lyon.

The updated squad includes numerous names across goalkeeper, defense, midfield, and forward positions. With Lukaku's addition, competition will arise in the attacking line with players such as Kerem Aktürkoğlu, Marco Asensio, Mason Greenwood, Vedat Muriqi, Dorgeles Nene, Alaettin Ekici, and Çağrı Fedai.
The first meeting between Fenerbahçe and Lyon will take place on Tuesday, August 18, at 22:00 in Kadıköy. In the play-off round, played on a two-legged elimination basis, the winning side will advance to the next stage of the Champions League.
