Fenerbahce's potential opponent in the Champions League play-off round has been clarified
According to the draw held by UEFA in Nyon, Fenerbahce will face the winner of the Sparta Prague-Lyon tie in the play-off round if they eliminate Sturm Graz.
The draw held at UEFA Headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland, revealed Fenerbahce's possible opponent in the Champions League play-off round. Should the yellow-and-navy blue side eliminate Austrian representative Sturm Graz in the 3rd qualifying round and advance to the next stage, they will face the winner of the match between Sparta Prague and Olympique Lyon.
The draw, which began at 13:00 Turkish time on Monday, August 3, and was broadcast free of charge via UEFA TV, was closely followed by Fenerbahce fans. Among the other pairings formed as a result of the draw, matches such as Olympiakos-NEC Nijmegen and Union Saint-Gilloise-Bodø/Glimt also drew attention.
