Fenerbahçe beats Sturm Graz; Oosterwolde injury and Dilmen's star warning in focus

Fenerbahçe defeated Sturm Graz 2-0 at home in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League 3rd qualifying round. The goals for the yellow-and-navy blue side came from Anderson Talisca and Mason Greenwood. While the match earned praise from football authorities, an injury during the game also made headlines.

Jayden Oosterwolde, who got injured in the 30th minute of the match, could not continue playing and left the pitch in tears on a stretcher. The first information about the Dutch player's condition was shared by Fenerbahçe Board Member Cihan Kamer. Kamer stated that the definitive report had not yet arrived but said Oosterwolde could be out for at least 3-4 weeks, adding that the exact result would be revealed after an MRI scan.
