Fenerbahçe Adds Kante to Squad List for Sturm Graz Match
Ahead of their Champions League match against Sturm Graz, Fenerbahçe removed Bartuğ Elmaz from the squad list submitted to UEFA and added N'Golo Kante to the roster.

Fenerbahçe made an update to its squad ahead of the UEFA Champions League 3rd qualifying round match against Sturm Graz. The yellow-and-navy blue club removed Bartuğ Elmaz from the list submitted to UEFA and included French midfielder N'Golo Kante in his place.

The updated squad includes names such as Tarık Çetin, Ederson, Mert Günok, Çağlar Söyüncü, Nathan Ake, Milan Skriniar, Nelson Semedo, and Mert Müldür, along with attacking players like Fred, Guendouzi, İrfan Can Kahveci, Talisca, Kerem Aktürkoğlu, Asensio, and Greenwood. The club's B list includes numerous young players, notably Engin Can Biterge, Kuzey Sapaz, and Kamil Efe Üregen.

Speaking at a press conference held in Samandıra before the match, Head Coach İsmail Kartal provided information about Kante's integration process with the team. Kartal stated that the French star was in good condition, would participate in his tenth training session, and would be included in the match squad. Kartal also announced that the injured Vedat Muriqi would be included in the squad.
Emphasizing that Sturm Graz has a young and combative squad, Kartal said the opponent is implementing a different system under their new coaching staff. Touching on fan support, Kartal stated that they aim to make the club proud and remain a permanent fixture in the Champions League. Expressing his satisfaction with Nathan Ake's performance, the coach added that the player is providing significant contributions to the team.
