Fred, who wore the Fenerbahçe jersey for three seasons and was recently announced as a new signing for the Brazilian club Atletico Mineiro, held an official farewell with his club before leaving Istanbul. The Brazilian player first visited the Fenerbahçe Can Bartu Facilities, where he met with head coach İsmail Kartal, his teammates, the coaching staff and club personnel.

After the meeting at the facilities, Fred went to the club building, where he said goodbye to President Aziz Yıldırım and board members Mahmut Uslu, Önder Fırat, Tanju Kaya, Yasemin Babayiğit and Ahmet Murat İman, as well as Mehmet İman, a board member of Fenerbahçe Futbol AŞ.
