Galatasaray Announce Squad for Trabzonspor Clash: Osimhen and Lemina Left Out
Galatasaray's travelling squad for the away match against Trabzonspor does not include Victor Osimhen, Mario Lemina, Wilfried Singo or Kaan Ayhan.

Galatasaray have officially announced their squad for tomorrow's away fixture against Trabzonspor in matchweek 6 of the Trendyol Süper Lig. According to the club's statement, the absence of four key players ahead of this important match has drawn attention. The technical staff's decision to leave these players out was attributed to ongoing injuries and treatment processes.

In the club's official announcement, it was stated that Mario Lemina, Wilfried Singo and Victor Osimhen, whose treatments are still continuing, will not be part of the squad for the Trabzonspor match. It was also noted that Kaan Ayhan, who felt pain in his Achilles tendon during the last training session, was likewise excluded from the squad. As a result, Galatasaray will travel without important options in both attack and defence.

The announced squad includes names such as Uğurcan Çakır, El Chadaille Bitshiabu, Ismail Jakobs, Davinson Sanchez, Roland Sallai, Gabriel Sara and Leroy Sane. Also named were Yunus Akgün, Eren Elmalı, Lesley Ugochukwu, İlkay Gündoğan, Deniz Gül and Jankat Yılmaz. The remaining players in the travelling party are Rafael Leao, Lucas Torreira, Abdülkerim Bardakcı, Barış Alper Yılmaz, Enes Emre Büyük, Renato Nhaga, Berat Luş, Aleksey Batrakov, Kazımcan Karataş and Arda Ünyay.
Osimhen's absence has become the most discussed development ahead of the match given his importance to Galatasaray's attacking strength. Since the Nigerian striker's treatment is ongoing, he will not travel to Trabzon, which will likely force the coaching staff to consider alternative tactical approaches. Similarly, Singo's absence in defence may require adjustments to the backline setup.
Although Galatasaray will enter this away fixture, regarded as a significant test, with several absences, the club is counting on the experienced and young players in the squad to compete against their opponents. The outcome of the match will be closely followed both for its impact on the league standings and for the broader course of the season.
