Italiano on Trossard's injury: 'He only has pain'
Following Beşiktaş's victory over Kauno Zalgiris, head coach Vincenzo Italiano gave information about the condition of Trossard, who suffered a heavy blow during the match.

In the first leg of the UEFA Europa League play-off round, Beşiktaş defeated Lithuanian representative Kauno Zalgiris at home. Right after the match, head coach Vincenzo Italiano spoke to the press, evaluating the victory and addressing questions about Trossard, who got injured during the game.

The Italian coach stated that there was no need for concern regarding Trossard, who took a hard hit. Italiano said the player only felt pain and did not have a serious injury. In the same statement, he also mentioned that Vaclav Cerny, who had been unwell for two days before the match, was substituted at the end of the first half, but would be on the pitch for Sunday's match.

Expressing his satisfaction with the team's performance, Italiano emphasized that they did a good job as hosts and that his players played with belief. The coach noted that they could have scored more goals and said that one should enjoy the matches won and learn from the ones lost. He stated that the fans gave great support throughout the match and that this support was the driving force of the team.
Reminding that only two months have passed since he took charge, Italiano said he was pleased with the process, but noted that difficult days may lie ahead. The coach stated that pressure is a natural phenomenon at Beşiktaş, adding that the team aims to fight to the end in every competition.
