Fenerbahçe continues its preparations for the away match against Gençlerbirliği in the opening week of the Süper Lig. According to the club's statement, the new season's first official match will be played in Ankara on Saturday, August 15th.

The notable development during this preparation process was that new signing Romelu Lukaku joined the training session held at the Can Bartu Facilities and trained with the team for the first time. The session, conducted under head coach İsmail Kartal, began with strength and endurance exercises indoors.

The players then moved to the pitch and carried out warm-up, quickness, and coordination drills; divided into two groups, they performed 5v2 possession and passing organization exercises. The training ended with small-sided double-goal matches.
Fenerbahçe will complete its final preparations for the Gençlerbirliği match with tomorrow's training session, after which the squad will travel to Ankara.
