Salah Arrives in Trabzon: Thousands of Fans Greet Him at the Airport

Trabzonspor's star signing Mohamed Salah arrived in Trabzon yesterday evening. The Egyptian star's arrival became the scene of one of the most enthusiastic welcomes in the club's history, as thousands of maroon-blue fans flocked to the airport.

Fans began gathering at the airport hours in advance to catch a glimpse of Salah. The crowd lit torches and chanted championship slogans, waiting for the star footballer with the chant 'Ya Allah, Bismillah Muhammed Salah.' The free bus services organized by the Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality for fans also saw heavy demand.

Speaking after the welcome, Salah said he had never seen such a huge display of love in his life and found it hard to put his feelings into words. The Egyptian star emphasized that he would do everything he could to succeed both in the league and in European competitions wearing the Trabzonspor jersey.

Trabzonspor President Ertuğrul Doğan thanked the fans for their interest, stating that the club's supporters showed exactly how a world star like Salah should be welcomed. Meanwhile, it was announced that a public signing ceremony for the Egyptian footballer will be held at the stadium on August 6.
