Beşiktaş draw 2-2 with Crystal Palace, remain unbeaten
Beşiktaş were held to a 2-2 draw by Crystal Palace in Europa League matchday three but stayed unbeaten in the competition.

In matchday three of the UEFA Europa League, Beşiktaş hosted Crystal Palace, the English side that finished last season as Conference League champions. The hard-fought contest ended 2-2, allowing the Turkish side to extend their unbeaten run in the competition into a third week.
Beşiktaş produced a strong first-half display, going into the break 1-0 up thanks to a goal from Wilfred Ndidi in the 45+2nd minute. Crystal Palace, however, came out firing in the second half, turning the game around with two goals scored within just five minutes. The English club's lead proved short-lived, as Junior Olaitan equalized for Beşiktaş in the 73rd minute.

Late in the match, Beşiktaş were reduced to ten men after Ümit Akdağ was shown a red card in the 78th minute. Despite playing a man down for the remainder of the game, the home side managed to hold on to the result and finish the match level at 2-2.
With this outcome, Beşiktaş added another point to their tally after opening the campaign with victories over Marseille and Hoffenheim, bringing their total to 7 points. Crystal Palace, meanwhile, moved to 4 points following the draw. Beşiktaş continue to progress confidently toward their goals while maintaining their unbeaten status in the league phase.
