Beşiktaş and Galatasaray clash over Kislyak transfer
The two Turkish rivals are both eyeing CSKA Moscow's young midfielder Matvey Kislyak for the winter window.

Turkish giants Beşiktaş and Galatasaray have already begun preparing for the upcoming winter transfer window, with both clubs looking to strengthen their midfield options. Interestingly, both teams have set their sights on the same player: CSKA Moscow's rising talent Matvey Kislyak. This means the two fierce rivals are set to compete directly for his signature before the window even opens.

According to Russian journalist Karpov, Beşiktaş's management is planning a trip to Russia in November to push the deal forward. The black-and-white club's officials are expected to sit down with CSKA Moscow representatives to formally open negotiations. The move suggests Beşiktaş is serious about securing the young midfielder.

Meanwhile, Galatasaray's interest in the Russian market appears to be growing as well. Pleased with their earlier signing of Aleksey Batrakov, the club's management is reportedly working to lay the groundwork for a potential Kislyak deal too. This approach indicates that Galatasaray is keeping a close eye on promising young Russian talents.
For their part, CSKA Moscow are said to be seeking a transfer fee of between 30 and 35 million euros for Kislyak. The 21-year-old was promoted to the club's first team in 2024 and quickly established himself as a key figure. Capable of playing both as a central midfielder and a defensive midfielder, he has made 98 appearances so far, scoring 13 goals and providing 12 assists. That record goes a long way toward explaining why two of Turkey's biggest clubs want him.
