Fenerbahçe stars bid farewell to İsmail Kartal

Following a 2-1 away defeat to Galatasaray in the ninth round of the Trendyol Süper Lig, Fenerbahçe officially parted ways with head coach İsmail Kartal. The gestures highlighted the respect the squad held for the experienced coach during his time at the helm.

Dutch defender Nathan Ake kept his message brief yet meaningful. He simply wrote, 'Thank you coach,' as a parting tribute to Kartal. The short but sincere note reflected the gratitude the player felt toward his departing manager.

İrfan Can Kahveci, on the other hand, offered a more detailed tribute. The Turkish international wrote, 'Thank you for your effort and everything we shared, coach. I wish you all the best for the future,' extending his gratitude to both Kartal and his coaching staff. His heartfelt words were seen as a reflection of the bond built within the squad.

Kerem Aktürkoğlu also shared an emotional farewell message of his own.
