Batrakov transfer at final stage for Galatasaray: Here are the details
The yellow-reds are preparing to take the final step in the transfer by reaching an agreement with Lokomotiv Moscow's young star Aleksey Batrakov.

Galatasaray has come to the point of completing its second major transfer of the summer period. After bringing in Lesley Ugochukwu from Burnley, the yellow-red management has now shaken hands with Lokomotiv Moscow's 21-year-old playmaker Aleksey Batrakov. The Russian footballer was left out of his club's squad for the match against Rostov, revealing the current state of the transfer, as he signed the Galatasaray jersey.

While bidding farewell to Lokomotiv Moscow fans, Batrakov stated that he wanted to play in European leagues and that Galatasaray's participation in the Champions League was decisive in this preference. The official social media account of the Russia National Team also shared a farewell message for the young star with a 'Welcome' banner featuring the Turkish flag and the Galatasaray emblem. Although there are slight discrepancies between sources regarding the player's arrival date in Istanbul, he is expected to be in Istanbul in the coming days for his medical examination and official signing.
According to reports, Galatasaray will pay Lokomotiv Moscow 25 million euros for Batrakov's transfer fee; a bonus of 4 million euros and a 10 percent sell-on clause were also added to the agreement. The payments are planned to be made in installments, with the final installment not exceeding December 2027. It is stated that the young player will sign a 5-year contract with the yellow-reds, with an annual salary of around 3.5-4 million euros.
It is reported that Head Coach Okan Buruk played an effective role in the transfer by holding one-on-one talks with Batrakov and explaining his role within the team. It has been learned that the young star, who also attracted interest from clubs in France, Italy, and Spain, chose Galatasaray. Batrakov, who directly contributed to 29 goals with 17 goals and 12 assists in 36 matches last season, is expected to be included in the squad for the away match against Erzurumspor once the necessary procedures are completed.
