Galatasaray has disclosed the financial terms of national forward Deniz Gül's move from Porto, with the Portuguese club set to receive 10 million euros.

Galatasaray has finalized the signing of Turkish national team forward Deniz Daniel Gül from Portuguese side Porto and has reported the financial details to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP). According to the club's statement, Galatasaray will pay Porto a total transfer fee of 10 million euros for the 22-year-old striker. As part of the agreement, Porto will also receive 10 percent of any profit from a future sale of the player.

Deniz Gül has signed a five-year contract with Galatasaray, effective from the 2026-2027 season. Under the terms of the deal, the young forward will receive a guaranteed net salary of 1.5 million euros per season. Last season, playing for Porto, he made 44 appearances across all competitions and scored 7 goals.

Following the signing ceremony, Deniz Gül spoke to Galatasaray's official YouTube channel and expressed his excitement. The 22-year-old striker said his childhood dream had come true and thanked the fans who gave him a warm welcome at the airport. He added that he was eager to meet the supporters at the stadium as soon as possible.
Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek also commented on the transfer, describing Deniz Gül as a highly valuable player for the club. Özbek noted that he learned from the player's father that a photo of Deniz taken at the stadium in 2013 exists, calling it remarkable that he has now joined the club he once dreamed of playing for. The president wished the young forward a long, injury-free career at Galatasaray and offered his congratulations on the move.
