Galatasaray announces Champions League squad list

Galatasaray has officially revealed its squad for the 2026-2027 UEFA Champions League campaign. The Istanbul club submitted the finalized list to UEFA before sharing it with supporters. The announcement clarifies which players will be eligible to represent the team in Europe this season.

All five players Galatasaray signed during the summer transfer window have been registered in the Champions League squad. Lesley Ugochukwu, Rafael Leao, Deniz Gül, El Chadaille Bitshiabu and Aleksey Batrakov are seen as key pieces in the club's plans for the new campaign. The inclusion of every new arrival reflects how directly the summer recruitment strategy has shaped the European roster.

One notable detail from the announcement concerns the players left out of the list. Kazımcan Karataş, Eyüp Aydın, Kaan Ayhan, Arda Ünyay and Can Armando Güner did not make the UEFA-registered squad. These players are expected to take on other roles within the club throughout the season.

Among the goalkeepers named are Uğurcan Çakır, Günay Güvenç, Jankat Yılmaz and Enes Emre Büyük, while the defensive line includes Abdülkerim Bardakcı, Davinson Sanchez, Bitshiabu, Wilfried Singo, Eren Elmalı, Ismail Jakobs and Roland Sallai. Up front, Victor Osimhen, Barış Alper Yılmaz, Rafael Leao, Leroy Sane and Deniz Gül are considered the club's main attacking threats in Europe this season.
