Okan Buruk: We will make a clear decision on the transfer this week

In week 2 of the Trendyol Süper Lig, Galatasaray defeated Erzurumspor FK 4-0 away from home, and head coach Okan Buruk made statements after the match. Buruk noted that the pitch and the atmosphere were nice, and that the fans once again stood by their team, thanking both his own supporters and the opposing fans.

Buruk said that the early goal relaxed the team, stating that they played well in the first half, had more possession, and kept control of the game. The experienced manager pointed out the difficulty of playing at high altitude, emphasizing that both not conceding a goal and scoring four goals were valuable for them, and congratulated his players.

Touching on the transfer agenda as well, Okan Buruk announced that the search for reinforcements continues for both a domestic and a foreign quota spot in the squad. Buruk stated that they are evaluating options with both young and experienced players for the center forward and wing positions, and said they have received positive feedback from the names they have been in talks with.

Buruk stated that definite decisions regarding the transfer will be announced this week, noting that once the planned reinforcements are completed, the team will be ready for the Champions League.
