PFDK announces bans for Vlahovic and Kerem Aktürkoğlu
Following the Fenerbahçe-Beşiktaş derby, the disciplinary board has confirmed the penalties handed to Dusan Vlahovic and Kerem Aktürkoğlu.

Following the Week 4 Trendyol Süper Lig clash between Fenerbahçe and Beşiktaş, which Beşiktaş won 2-1 away from home, disciplinary proceedings were opened against two players. Dusan Vlahovic was referred to the Professional Football Disciplinary Board (PFDK) after an altercation with Milan Skriniar, accused of unsportsmanlike conduct toward an opposing player. Kerem Aktürkoğlu was also referred to the board over comments made in a post-match flash interview that were deemed damaging to the reputation of football and its institutions.

The board has now announced its long-awaited verdict. According to the ruling, Dusan Vlahovic was found guilty of unsportsmanlike behaviour toward a member of the opposing team and was handed a one-match suspension along with a fine of 100,000 Turkish lira. As a result, the experienced striker will be unavailable for the upcoming league fixture.

Kerem Aktürkoğlu, meanwhile, received a purely financial penalty. The Fenerbahçe player was fined 500,000 Turkish lira over remarks judged to have harmed the reputation of football and related institutions. The board noted that this decision was reached by majority vote rather than unanimously, suggesting the matter was debated internally.
Due to the suspension, Beşiktaş will be without their Serbian forward for the upcoming match against Erzurumspor. According to reports, the matter is not yet closed for the club, as the management is reportedly preparing to appeal to the federation in hopes of having the ban overturned. Fans and the coaching staff are watching closely to see how the temporary loss of their star striker will affect the team during this crucial phase of the season.
