TFF Arbitration Board overturns ban on Beşiktaş president Serdal Adalı

The Arbitration Board of the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) reviewed the sanction handed down to Beşiktaş president Serdal Adalı. The 15-day suspension, originally imposed by the Professional Football Disciplinary Committee (PFDK), was overturned following a majority vote. As a result, Adalı is no longer subject to the ban that had been placed on him.

The ruling was not limited to the club president alone, as it also covered Beşiktaş board member Hakan Daltaban. His 20-day ban and a fine of 2.5 million lira, both originally issued by the PFDK, were likewise revoked by majority decision of the Arbitration Board. The outcome represented another favorable development for the Beşiktaş management.

According to a statement released by the TFF, the penalty imposed on the club itself was also re-examined. The 3.5 million lira fine that had been levied against Beşiktaş was fully cancelled following the review process. With this decision, all sanctions targeting the club's board members and the club as a legal entity have effectively been removed.

The ruling marks the closing stage of a disciplinary process that had been closely followed within the Beşiktaş community. The reversal of the PFDK's sanctions by the higher body is being interpreted as a vindication of the club's appeal. The development was welcomed with relief by both the club's management and its supporters.
