Thomas Reis delivers three wins in three games at Trabzonspor

Trabzonspor began the season under head coach Fatih Tekke, picking up two wins, one draw and two losses from their opening five league matches. The club also suffered elimination in the Europa League play-off round, losing both legs against Ferencvaros and dropping into the Conference League. Following these results, the club's management decided to part ways with Tekke.

After Tekke's departure, German coach Thomas Reis was appointed as the new head coach. He made an immediate impact, starting his tenure with a commanding 4-0 win over Galatasaray. The result gave a major boost to the team and its supporters.

In his second match in charge, Reis guided Trabzonspor to a 3-0 away victory over Samsunspor in the Black Sea derby. The side looked sharp in attack and solid defensively under the new manager. Back-to-back wins raised expectations among the fanbase considerably.

Trabzonspor's good form continued in Europe as well, with the team beating Kuopio 4-2 in their most recent fixture. Since Reis took charge, Trabzonspor have won all three official matches, scoring 11 goals while conceding just two. This record is seen as clear evidence of how quickly the German coach has reshaped the team's identity.

Attention has now turned to Monday's upcoming fixture. Reis' Trabzonspor side will face Besiktas in their next challenge. It remains to be seen whether the winning streak under the German coach can continue in this tough encounter.
