Trabzonspor host Hearts today, live on TRT 1

Trabzonspor will host Scottish club Hearts at home in the second matchday of the UEFA Conference League. The fixture is scheduled for Thursday, 22 October 2026, at Papara Park, with kickoff set for 19:45. The Turkish side are looking to build on their strong European start in front of their own supporters.

Trabzonspor opened their Conference League campaign with a 4-2 away win over Finland's KuPS Kuopio. Following that result, the club aims to beat Hearts as well and secure two wins from two matches. Hearts, for their part, will be looking to take at least a point away from Trabzon.

The match will be broadcast live and free-to-air on TRT 1 in Turkey. Viewers will be able to follow the game on television as well as through TRT's official website and the Tabii streaming platform. The broadcast will also be available on radio via TRT Radyo 1.

Trabzonspor will be without Batagov, Paul Onuachu and young goalkeeper Onuralp Çevikkan due to injury ahead of the match. Whether these players will be available is expected to become clear once the official squad is announced. A possible starting lineup for Trabzonspor includes Onana, Pina, Nwaiwu, Savic, Cabral, Fabinho, Ozan, Muçi, Saviolo, Salah and Franculino.

Belgian referee Lawrence Visser has been appointed to officiate the match between Trabzonspor and Hearts. He will be assisted by Ruben Wyns and Mathias Hillaert. The result carries significant weight for Trabzonspor, who are aiming for a top position in the league phase standings.
