Fenerbahçe agree deal with Sergio Conceiçao as new coach
Fenerbahçe have reportedly reached an agreement with Portuguese coach Sergio Conceiçao to become their new manager.

Fenerbahçe's search for a new head coach appears to have concluded. Following the departure of İsmail Kartal, the club's management sat down with Portuguese coach Sergio Conceiçao, and the talks are said to have gone well. According to club sources, the two sides reached agreement on all key points.

At a board meeting held right after the Göztepe match, several candidates had initially been discussed. However, the final call was made by President Aziz Yıldırım, who reportedly instructed officials to swiftly finalize contact with Conceiçao.

According to reports, Fenerbahçe and Sergio Conceiçao have agreed on an 18-month contract. The club management is also said to be aiming to bring the experienced coach to Istanbul before the Champions League clash against Liverpool.
Under the current plan, Conceiçao is expected to watch the Liverpool match from the stands before officially taking charge. The idea is for him to get to know the squad and players in advance, ensuring he is better prepared once he formally begins the job.
Fenerbahçe are expected to make the move official in the coming days. Fans are hoping that the team's performance will gain momentum under the new coach, both in the league and in European competition.
