Galatasaray Announce Squad for Konyaspor Clash
Galatasaray have revealed their squad list for the away fixture against TÜMOSAN Konyaspor in the 10th week of the Süper Lig.
Galatasaray will travel to face TÜMOSAN Konyaspor tomorrow at 20:00 in the 10th week of the Trendyol Süper Lig. The Istanbul club announced the squad list for this crucial away match through their official social media channels.
The most notable absence from the travelling squad is defender Abdülkerim Bardakcı. The experienced centre-back was referred to the Disciplinary Board (PFDK) as a precaution following an altercation with Archie Brown after last week's Fenerbahçe derby. As a result of this development, Bardakcı was left out of the squad for the Konyaspor match.
Galatasaray completed their preparations for the fixture at the Kemerburgaz Metin Oktay Facilities. The final training session under head coach Okan Buruk began with dynamic warm-up exercises. The players then split into two groups for a 10-vs-2 passing drill before the session concluded with tactical work.
As the training day coincided with Turkey's Republic Day on October 29, the players posed for photos with the Turkish flag during the session. Having completed all their preparations, the Galatasaray squad will now head to Konya to enter their pre-match training camp.
